Ultrasuede

Though I've had Ultrasuede for a long time in my Etsy bead shop, I have only now begun adding it to my regular website.  Sorry it took so long!  I really do love Ultrasuede to back a great many of my jewelry designs, so having a good stock of colors is essential.  The website currently has these colors:

There is currently a wider selection of colors on the PeacockBeadShop.Etsy.com, but rest assured that they will make their way over to the regular site in good time.

Any of you who know me, know what a big nerd I am, and today is International Star Wars Day, so May the 4th be With You!  I'm not sure who the artist of this is, but if you know, please tell me!

I took an Enameling Class!

This past weekend was the Rocky Mountain Bead Bazaar, held annually by the Rocky Mountain Bead Society, and I had the opportunity to take two classes involving Enameling with Kieu Pham Grey.  I loved them both!  The first was entitled Silver Illuminations and, as you might imagine, it involved enameling over Sterling Silver metal.  The second was called Riveting Enamels, which was enameling over copper, and the use of traditional rivets, affixed with a center punch, and hammer.  I enjoyed both classes, and now my mind is swimming with ideas on how to incorporate these techniques into my work.
